This class is for you if...

You're in that "wait, how will we know when it's really time?" stage of pregnancy and want a clear picture of what labor actually looks like.

  • You want your partner or support person to know what to do in the room, what to say, and how to help when things get intense.
  • You're hoping to walk into the hospital feeling prepared, whether you're planning an epidural, hoping to go unmedicated, or keeping an open mind.
  • You're a military family trying to plan around field time, TDYs, or doing this season far from home and your usual support system.
  • You want practical answers, real examples, and space to ask your own questions without feeling behind or judged.

Why not just take the hospital class?

Hospital classes are a great place to start, and I'll never tell you to skip one. This class is different in a few ways:

  • It's small. Six couples max, so you get time for your questions.
  • It's taught by a doula. I've supported over 150 families on 4 continents! Which means I understand full well birth doesn't have to look a specific way
  • It's built for local and military families. I'm a military spouse too. I know what it's like to plan a birth around a training schedule with your people far away.
  • You leave with an understanding of childbirth AND  a plan. Not just notes, an actual draft of your birth preferences that you can provide directly to your doctor and hospital!
  • I don't teach you "only" the hospital policy. Hospital classes are great resources, but at the end of the day they only teach you their policies and what they want you to know...

Meet your instructor

Hi, I'm Kyndrick! I'm a certified birth doula and lactation counselor, and I've supported more than 150 families through birth and the newborn days.  I've traveled around the US and globally to support families on their journey to parenthood.

I'm a military spouse living right here in the Fort Rucker area, and I started Peachey Pregnancy Co. because I believe informed families have better birth experiences, no matter where or how they give birth. This class is the stuff I wish every couple knew before the big day.

Questions you might have

When in my pregnancy should I take this?

Between 20 and 36 weeks is ideal. Early enough to plan, but close enough that you can actually remember it and discuss your birth plan with your provider!

Can I bring someone other than my partner?

Yes. Your mom, sister, best friend or whoever will be with you at your birth is welcome. Or just bring yourself! That's totally okay too!

What if my partner is deployed or in the field?

Come solo or bring another support person.

What if we miss a class?

Let me know and we can make it up at a different date! Life happens... I get it.

What's your refund policy?

Since this is a live class, no refunds will be offered. If you have to miss we can always reschedule for a later date.

What should we bring?

Just yourself and maybe a notebook!

You don't have to walk into your birth guessing.
