In-home postpartum doula care
Everybody shows up for the baby. This one is just for you.
12 hours of in-home postpartum care built around the person who gave birth. Not newborn care. Not housekeeping. You.
Book The Restoration PackageYour mom held the baby. Someone brought a casserole.
Three people asked how baby is sleeping. Nobody asked how you're sleeping.
Postpartum care in this country is one appointment at six weeks where somebody checks if you're cleared for sex and sends you home. That's the plan. That's the whole plan.
BULLSHIT RIGHT?! So let's get you the postpartum support you actually deserve.
Postpartum Doula Services: What I do while I'm there
You use the hours however you want. Two hours at a time minimum, three is better. Some people do four visits, some do six. Up to you.
Feeding help
Latch, supply, pain, pumping, weaning. I'm a certified lactation counselor, so you're not stuck googling it at 2am.
Recovery support
What's normal and what isn't. Rest positions that don't make things worse. Space to talk about your birth if you need to.
Light cleaning
Your dishes, your laundry, resetting the room you're healing in. So you're not staring at a mess while you rest.
Homemade food
Postpartum friendly snacks and breakfast. Plant forward, simple, things you can eat one handed without putting the baby down.
Closing of the Bones
A ceremony on your last visit, learned from traditional midwives in Mexico. A real ending instead of support just trailing off.
Lactation 101: What to expect for breastfeeding, pumping, and lactating.
Online, self-paced course so you can get a lactation foundation going before baby is here.
All four of my postpartum guides, the day you book
You don't wait until the first visit. They're yours as soon as you're on the calendar.
The Postpartum Partner Guide
So he knows what to do without asking you what you need.
Postpartum Plant Medicine
The herbs I actually use and what they're for.
Postpartum Recipes
The one I cook from when I'm at your house.
Thrive in the 4th Trimester: The First 2 Weeks
What to expect in the part nobody prepares you for.
How this works
Every one of these 12 hours belongs to you. That's what makes this different from other types of support, and it's worth saying, so we're on the same page from day one.
- You're the one being cared for. Baby care stays with you, your partner, your family, or whoever else is offering. I'm here to protect the time for baby bonding and to truly check in and support you!
- Daytime visits, so you get real rest during daylight. No overnights, which means I'm sharp and present every hour I'm with you!
- Food & tidying up just for you. I'll make breakfast for each day for you and some easy one-handed snacks perfect for holding baby! Recipes will come from my Postpartum Recovery Guide and we will chat about them beforehand. I'll also help with light tidying up. (Some dishes, maybe a load of laundry, or just removing a little bit of clutter from your space).
- This is truly about you, the Postpartum Mom. Too many people ask about the baby, but fail to ask about you. You are incredible and just did something so powerful. Let me celebrate and support you during this big transition.
